Junk Food Better LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) runs the creator application at influencers.junkfoodbetter.com. This policy explains what we collect when you apply, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you submit the application, we collect the information you provide:
- Your name and email address
- Your shipping address
- Your social platform, handle, and follower count
- Anything you write in the optional message field
How we use it
- To review your application and decide whether it's a fit
- To ship your free box if you're approved
- To contact you about your application and the partnership
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to operate the form and store your information — including Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database) — and we share your shipping details with delivery carriers so your box can reach you. We don't otherwise share your information except where required by law.
Content you create
Reviews and posts you create as part of the program are public by nature. By participating you agree we may reshare that content on our own channels, ads, and product listings, consistent with the terms you accept on the application form.
How long we keep it
We keep applications for as long as needed to run the program and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time — just email contact@junkfoodbetter.com.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Know & access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Delete — request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
- Correct — request that we fix inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- No discrimination — we will not deny you the program or treat you differently for exercising these rights.
The categories of personal information we collect are: identifiers (such as your name and email), customer records (your shipping address), internet or social-media activity (your platform, handle, and follower count), and any details you choose to share in the message field. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@junkfoodbetter.com; we'll verify your request using the email address associated with your application.
Cookies
The public application page does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our private admin area uses a single sign-in cookie that is strictly necessary for staff to log in.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date above.
